REG :yc :10/30/59 -7 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 28 93 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING OF A NEW <br /> ROTARY TYPE AIR CUPRESSOR; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER <br /> BIDS RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2880, adopted September 28, <br /> 1959, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> 125 CFM Rotary Type Air Compressor for the purpose of replacing <br /> worn out equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Manager; and <br /> WHEREAS, Edward R. Bacon Company, San Francisco, California, <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder meeting the specifications and <br /> it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid <br /> to Edward R. Eaton Company and reject all other bids received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Edward R. Bacon Company for the furnishing of <br /> one 125 CF M Rotary Type Air Compressor to the City of Redwood <br /> City in accordance with specifications therefor at the price <br /> quoted in its proposal, to -wit: Four Thousand Four Hundred Dollars <br /> R4140 is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared <br /> to be the lowest responsible bidder meeting the specifications. <br /> 2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment other than <br /> the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof are hereby rejected. <br />
