y <br /> REG: c:10 /5/59 -7 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 2881 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE <br /> FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION OF ONE STORM WATER PUMP, <br /> 4EDWOOD INDUSTRIAL TRACT NO. 2, AND AUTHORIZING CALLING <br /> OF BIDS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> plans and specifications for the furnishing and installation of <br /> one 66 HP vertical column pump, together with appurtenances, <br /> necessary in connection with the pumphouse, Redwood Industrial <br /> Tract No. 2; aid, <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to <br /> signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to <br /> advertise for bids, for the furnishing and installation of said <br /> eqz ipment; and, <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with said work, it is necessary and <br /> desirable to establish prevailing minimum rates of hourly wages <br /> and rates for holiday and overtime work to be performed on said <br /> project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Those certain plans, entitled "66 HP Vertical Column <br /> Pump for Pumphouse, Redwood Industrial Tract No. 2," and those <br /> certain specifications, entitled "General Specifications and <br /> Special Provisions for the Construction of Storm Water Pump, <br /> Redwood Industrial Tract No. 2, in the City of Redwood City, <br /> California," prepared by the office of the City Engineer, copies <br /> of which plans and specifications are on file in the office of <br /> the City Engineer, are hereby approved. <br /> 2.
