AEC : y c :9/21/59 -7 <br /> • <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 2872 <br /> RESOLUTION AU THORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PRO- <br /> VISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 631, BEING THE SUB- <br /> DIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 631, being <br /> the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, the Planning <br /> Commission has received and recommended the approval of the applica- <br /> tion of Anthony J. Frates and Mary A. Frates, 98 Haven Avenue, <br /> redwood City, for an exception to the provisions of Section 5.31 <br /> of said Ordinance lo. 631, to permit the approval of the tentative <br /> map of the subdivision of the southerly fifty feet (50') of Lot 5, <br /> Block 10, Friendly Acres Subdivision No. 1, Map No. 505, into <br /> two lots of 5,000 sqz are feet in area instead of 6,000 sqi are feet <br /> required by said Section 5.31; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found and report to <br /> this Council that exceptional circumstances and conditions exist <br /> which affect said property, that the exception applied for is <br /> necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial <br /> property right of the petitioners, and that the granting of the <br /> exception will not be detrimental to the public welfare or ad- <br /> versely affect other property in the neighborhood; <br /> NOW, "YE EFORE: <br /> BE IT =SOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.31 of the above <br /> mentioned Ordinance No. 631, the Planning Commission is hereby <br /> authorized to approve the tentative map of the subdivision of <br /> the southerly fifty feet (50!) of Lot 5, Block 10, as designated <br /> on that certain map entitled "No. 5o5 Friendly Acres Sub. No. 1," <br /> which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of Sal Mateo <br /> County, State of California, on February 10, 1936, in Book 20, <br /> pages 69 and 70, to create two lots having an area of 5,000 square <br /> feet instead of 6,000 square feet as required by Section 5.31. <br />
