41/ IP, AEC:yc:8 /7/59 -7 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2850 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREET WITH REDWOOD <br /> PEST CONTROL FOR RODENT EXTERMINATION <br /> WHEREAS, the Health Department of the City of Redwood City <br /> has advised this Council that it is necessary for the preservation <br /> of the public health and to prevent the spread of contagious and <br /> infectious diseases that poisons and other materials be purchased <br /> for the purpose of exterminating and destroying rodents in the <br /> City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the sum of Seven Hundred Thirty d 05 /100 Dollars <br /> (030.05) has been appropriated for said purpose during the fiscal <br /> year July 1, 1959 - June 30, 1960; and <br /> WHEREAS, City desires to engage the services of Redwood Pest <br /> Control, P. 0. Box No. 527, Redwood City, California, for the pur- <br /> pose of implementing a rodent control program in the City of Redwood <br /> City under the supervision of the San T County Health Department; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That certain agreement, entitled "Agreement for Rodent <br /> Extermination," on file in the office of the City Clerk and to which <br /> reference is hereby made for full particulars as to the terms and <br /> conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> hereby authorized and directed to enter into said agreement and to <br /> execute same on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> ., i * <br />
