RD-82-07 RD 82-07 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO NEGOTIATE (MARINA PROJECT <br /> AREA) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 4, Article 2 of the Community <br />Development Law ( H. & S. C., S~33310, et seq.), the Council <br />of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 8979 on <br /> <br />October 12, 1981, authorizing and directing the Planning Commission <br />to designate one or more areas within the City of Redwood City as <br />a survey area for the purpose of studying the feasibility of <br />redevelopment in said areas, and to further designate one or <br />more areas within said survey area as a project area or areas, <br />and to formulate a preliminary plan for the redevelopment of <br />the selected area(s); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution, the~Planning Commission <br />did on December 15, 1981, designate a Survey Area within which <br />to study the feasibility of redevelopment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 15, 1981, the Planning Commission did <br />further designate a project area (a combination of four [4] project <br />areas) and did recommend a preliminary plan for the redevelopment <br />of the designated project area(s), one of which is designated <br />"Area C, Marina Project"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 4, Article 7, of the Community <br />Redevelopment Law (H. & S. C., §~33390, et seq.) a redevelopment <br />agency may negotiate with a private entity for the acquisition <br />and/or disposal of property within a project area at any time <br />after the formulation of the preliminary plan for such area <br />by the Planning Commission; and <br /> <br /> RD-82-07 <br /> <br /> <br />
