During the preliminary <br /> design and public presentation process the projects grew into significant park renovations <br /> that include drainage, planting, i rrigation, fencing, and expanded play ar eas. As the <br /> projects progressed, due to the budget crisis and layoffs, we have been asked to <br /> coordinate with a total of four different project managers. During the review process <br /> members from Engineering, Parks and Recreation and Maintenance provided additional <br /> input at several meetings at City Hall. The original schedule was to have these projects <br /> out to bi by Februa�his year. JVe are as of to ay, still finalizing the rawing an <br /> specifications. The additional publi� meetings and the resulting additions to the �ie <br /> coupled with chanqinq project rnanagement priorities, have all created additional work <br /> hours for our staff. <br /> Additional Services Fee Breakdown: <br /> 1. Additional Public Meetings. (6 hrs@ $140+6hrs@ $900) $1,400.00 <br /> 2. Planting and Irrig. Plans-Specs. (8 hrs@ $140+24 hrs @$1Q0) $3,520.00 <br /> 3. Misc. Plan Revisions, (fencing/gates, drainage, play surfacing). <br /> (6 hrs @ $140+28 hrs @ $100) $3,640.00 <br /> 4. Additional Staff meetings for plan reviews <br /> (6 hrs@ $140+6hrs@ $100) $1,400.00 <br /> Total for Additional Services $9,960.00 <br /> These are additional services of the original Consultants Agreement dated August 12, <br /> 2009. All sections of the original agreement shall apply to these additional services. <br />
