Exhi " A " <br /> Scope of Services <br /> GODBE RESEARCH <br /> Gain anstght <br /> December 6, 2010 <br /> Ms. Magda Gonzalez <br /> Deputy City Manager <br /> City of Redwood City <br /> 1017 Middlefield Road <br /> Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> Dear Ms. Gonzalez, <br /> Godbe Research is pleased to again be working with the City of Redwood City (Redwood City) on <br /> this iteration of a City Satisfaction Survey project of Redwood City residents. The attached scope <br /> and project costs /terms reflect the scope of work for the 2010 City Satisfaction Survey. <br /> 1. In- person meetings and conference calls as needed with Redwood City to discuss the <br /> research objectives for the study, questionnaire design, and related topics. <br /> 2. Refining the survey instrument from the 2008 survey (last iteration of the City Satisfaction <br /> Survey) to accomplish the goals of the current City Satisfaction Survey process. The <br /> survey length will be 18- minutes in length on average, based on past events. <br /> 3. Pre - testing the survey questionnaire. <br /> 4. Developing a random digit dial (RDD) sampling design of Redwood City residents. <br /> 5. CATI programming the survey instrument for efficient data collection. <br /> 6. Translation of the survey into Spanish for monolingual Spanish speaking residents or <br /> bilingual residents that would be more comfortable responding to the survey in Spanish. <br /> 7. Conducting telephone interviews with 400 (n =400) Redwood City residents in English and <br /> Spanish. The length of each interview will be 18- minutes, on average, and costs are valid <br /> for up to 10% of all interviews in Spanish. <br /> 8. Processing the data collected according to strict quality control standards and holding a <br /> topline report meeting with Redwood City just after the survey has finished fielding. <br /> 9. Producing a written report of findings, which will include an executive summary, key <br /> findings and conclusions, a discussion of the methodology, question -by- question analysis, <br /> comparisons to previous survey events and a complete set of crosstabulations. <br /> 10. An in- person presentation of findings to Redwood City staff and administration. <br /> Below are the all inclusive costs to conduct an18- minute survey of 400 (n =400) Redwood City <br /> residents in English and Spanish to support the 2010 City Satisfaction Survey process. The costs <br /> below are firm and fixed and will not change provided that the parameters of the project conform <br /> to this document.
