DUPLICATE <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FOR <br /> HISTORIC PROPERTY PRESERVATION <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into thisoA day of e(2010, <br /> by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California, hereinafter called ( "City "), and the Ruppenthal- <br /> Carr Family Living Trust, hereinafter called ( "Owner "); <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, California Government Code Sections 50280, et. seq. authorize <br /> cities to enter into contracts with the owners of qualified historical property to provide for <br /> the use, maintenance and restoration of such historical property so to retain its <br /> characteristics as property of historical significance; and <br /> WHEREAS, Owner(s) possess(es) fee title in and to that certain real property, <br /> together with associated structures and improvements thereon, and generally located at <br /> 1028 Warren Street, Redwood City, California 94063, APN 052 - 258 -120 (hereinafter <br /> such property shall be referred to as the "Historic Property "). A legal description of the <br /> Historic Property is attached hereto, marked as Exhibit "A," and is incorporated herein <br /> by this reference; and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 8, 2006, the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> declared and designated the Historic Property as a contributing landmark to the <br /> Mezesville Historic District pursuant to the terms and provisions of Chapter 40, Historic <br /> Preservation of the Redwood City Municipal Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, City and Owner, for their mutual benefit, now desire to enter into this <br /> agreement both to protect and preserve the characteristics of historical significance of <br /> ATTY /AGR/2010.125 1 <br /> 11/10/10 <br />
