Examples of <br /> Technical Assistance may be: Phone consultations for youth -led project <br /> troubleshooting, Follow -up on portion of research project or action project <br /> development, or coaching in train the trainers style support for adult capacity <br /> building to support youth programs and projects. <br /> • Training and TA for YLI Youth Access Survey: Data Analysis and Report in <br /> Partnership with Sequoia Teen Resource Center: YAB <br /> 1. Data Analysis Retreat facilitated by YLI (Completed 8/5/10) <br /> 2. Community Dissemination. <br /> A) YLI will take the lead in formatting and editing the YLI Youth Access <br /> Survey for the Findings and Recommendations Report based on the <br /> Data Analysis Retreat. <br /> B) On Wed, 9/8/10 (3:30 -5pm) YLI will provide TA to Sequoia TRC: YAB to <br /> review, and provide final edits for language and recommendation in the <br /> report with emphasis on Social Norm and Policy recommendations. <br /> C) In early Oct (6th or 13th) YLI will provide one Public Presentations <br /> training to Sequoia TRC: YAB to prepare for presentations to School <br /> Administration, RWC /NFO Prevention Partnership, Sequoia High Staff. <br /> 3. Sequoia TRC: YAB presentation to RWC /NFO Prevention Partnership on Nov. <br /> 17th <br /> 4. Pending student interest, Provide Media Advocacy Training and generate 1 -2 <br /> media articles on the YLI Youth Access Survey Findings. <br /> • YLI will co- facilitate the Corner Store Make -Over to address reducing youth <br /> access to alcohol in the retail environment and changing merchant/ cultural <br /> norms though: <br /> 1. Monthly or bi- monthly workgroup meetings <br /> 2. Develop a strategy chart and plan of action for policy change efforts with <br /> workgroup (Nov. — Dec. 2010) <br /> 3. Align YO! Mateo's Healthy Neighborhood Store Project (ending in RWC <br /> on Dec. 30th 2010) <br /> 4. Develop application for Get Healthy San Mateo County (GHSMC) next <br /> round of funding for a corner store conversion in North Fair Oaks (TBA) <br /> 5. Develop a 1 -2 page corner store assessment tool (observational or <br /> interview) for the North Fair Oaks Neighborhood (Jan. — March 2011) <br /> 6. Develop a Public Opinion Survey for community engagement, input and <br /> perceptions of retail environments from North Fair Oaks residents. Lead <br /> facilitation for 150 — 200 surveys to be administered by YO!
