� ,� , F..,�=:�. �_�.� <br /> � , _.- � GODBE RESEARCH <br /> Qc� . . , , , , , . <br /> � a. ��1l�� �� �+���/ �'��� : , Gain �nsight <br /> ➢ Residents report a high level of satisfaction with the job Redwood City is doing to provide City <br /> services as a whole. <br /> ■ Fully 85 percent of residents are satisfied with City services, with 36 percent "very satisfied" <br /> and 49 percent "somewhat satisfied." <br /> ■ As might be expected given the economic downturn, there was a slight decrease in "very <br /> satisfied" responses from 2008 (41 %) to 2010 (36%). However, total satisfaction with City <br /> services in the current survey (85%) is consistent with the results from 2008 (86%) and <br /> 2003 (87%), and continues to represent a slight increase from 2001 (81 %). <br /> ■ Satisfaction with City services was particularly high among residents of Redwood Shores. <br /> Otherwise, satisfaction was consistent across demographic groups, including gender, age, <br /> ethnicity, and household income. <br /> ➢ Residents also indicated high satisfaction with a wide range of City services, and satisfaction <br /> with severa) services has increased from previous surveys. <br /> ■ Satisfied residents significantly outnumbered dissatisfied residents in all cases. Additionally, <br /> residents were at least "somewhat satisfied" with 9 of the 15 services tested. <br /> ■ Residents currently are more satisfied with the City's efforts to attract people to the <br /> downtown area for events and activities; trim and maintain City trees; and provide <br /> affordable housing.
