The impact identified above is described and discussed <br /> on pages 16-7 to 16-8 of the DEIR. <br /> b) Mitigation Measures. FEIR Mitigation Measure 16-2 (p. 16-8 <br /> of the DEIR) is hereby adopted and will be implemented as provided in the Mitigation <br /> Monitoring and Reporting Program. <br /> c) Findings. Based on the FEIR and the entire record before the Ciry, <br /> the Gity Council finds that Mitigation Measure 16-2 would reduce corrosive soil impacts <br /> to a less than significant level because it would: 1) require water systems and other buried <br /> metal infrastructure in all future development within the DPP to have protective coating <br /> conforming to the City's water system design criteria and specifications; and 2) require <br /> concrete mi� designs to conform to state Depart of Transportation standards regarding <br /> corrosion. <br /> Impact 16-3: Soil Erosion and Sedimentation. Grading for future <br /> development in accordance with the proposed DPP wouId temporarily disturb the <br /> site's existing topography and vegetative cover, leaving soils exposed to wind and <br /> water erosion during the construction period. Eroded soils could be washed into on- <br /> site or off-site drainage facilities. Resulting sedimentation could affect the flows in <br /> these drainage facilities, increasing flooding potential and maintenance problems <br /> and degrading water quality. <br /> a) Potential Impact.
