RESOLUTION FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT, BECAUSE OF LOCAL CLIMATIC, <br /> GEOLOGICAL, AND TOPOGRAPHICAL CONDITIONS, THE PUBLIC HEALTH, <br /> SAFETY, WELFARE, AND NECESSITY, REQUIRE CHANGES OR MODIFICATION TO <br /> CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 12 OF THE REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE RELATING TO THE ADOPTION BY REFERENCE OF THE CALIFORNIA FIRE <br /> CODE, 2010 EDITION; AS MODIFIED AND MADE APPLICABLE TO THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY <br /> C. Final Environmental Impact Report <br /> Adopt a Resolution to Certify the Final Environmental Impact Report (Final <br /> EIR) prepared for the Downtown Precise Plan; to make Findings regarding <br /> Mitigation Measures and Alternatives; to Adopt a Statement of Overriding <br /> Considerations; and to Adopt the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting <br /> Program (MMRP) prepared for the project. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> CERTIFYING THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE <br /> DOWNTOWN PRECISE PLAN <br /> 2. Downtown Precise Plan <br /> Adopt a Resolution to approve the Downtown Precise Plan including approval <br /> of the most appropriate Maximum Allowable Development (M.A.D) cap and <br /> alternatives. Staff and the Planning Commission specifically recommends <br /> that the City Council consider EIR Alternatives 4 (Revised Maximum <br /> Allowable Development caps) and 5 (Revised Historic Resources <br /> Preservation Regulations) which allow for revised development caps and <br /> greater regulation pertaining to historic resources, and other amendments as <br /> deemed appropriate.
