ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />Rudy Luca brought up the subject of the City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk <br />salaries. He referred to the City of Burlingame having recently frozen raises for staff. <br />He stated that if the City or individual staff members mentioned could do something <br />about it, he and the residents would appreciate it. <br />7. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council and <br />are enacted by one motion and one vote. The Consent Calendar category is limited to <br />15 minutes of comment to be allocated as determined by the Mayor. <br />Public Comment: <br />Rudy Luca stated that he has talked with may people involved with eminent domain <br />and asked if an outside attorney has been hired for this purpose. He stated his opinion <br />that some of the involved owners are not satisfied with the settlement amounts. <br />City Manager Everett stated that the eminent domain issue, 7.2.C, referred to is <br />actually a friendly eminent domain process that involves vacant land involved so that <br />interchange improvements can be made at the Belmont Marineworld Parkway <br />interchange with U.S. 101. <br />M/S Pierce /Hartnett to waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances <br />by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. Items <br />7.1.1-1, 7.2.A and 7.2.0 were removed for separate consideration. The motion passed <br />by a unanimous roll call vote by those present with Council Member Howard <br />abstaining on Item 7.1.A and Vice Mayor Ira absent. <br />7.1 Section - Motions <br />A.
