AGREEMENT BETN7EEN THE REDEVELOPD�ENT AGENCY <br /> OF TAE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br /> � PURSUANT TO COMP7UNITY REDEVELOPP9ENT LAW AND <br /> HEALTFi AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 33000 ET SEQ: <br /> i <br /> THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 13th day of July, 1982, by <br /> and between the County of San Mateo (hereinafter referred to as <br /> "County") and the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br /> � Redwood City (hereinafter referred to as "Agency"); <br /> W I T N E 5 S E T EI: <br /> WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br /> Redwood City has propos'ed for a portion of the City of Redwood <br /> City a Re3evelopment Plan entitled "Redwood City Community <br /> Redevelopment Project No. 2" (hereinafter referred to as <br /> � <br /> "Redevelopment Plan" and <br /> WfIEREAS, if the Redevelopment plan is adopted, then pursuan� <br /> to California Constitution Article XVI, Section 16, and Aealth <br /> and Safety Code section 33670 et seq., and the proposed Redevelop- <br /> ment Plan, increases in the assessed values of the property <br /> within the Plan area above the sum of the assessed values as <br /> shown on the 1981-82 assessment roll (the Base Year Roll for the <br /> Plan) will result in that portion of praperty taxes each year on <br /> such increase in assessed values (Tax Increment) being allocated <br /> and paid to the Agency to pay the principal of and interest on <br /> loans, monies advanced to or indebtedness incurred by the Agency <br /> to finance or refinance, in whole or in part, redevelopment in <br /> ✓ accordance with the Plan; and <br />
