RD-84-04 RD 84-04 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT <br /> TO EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO NEGOTIATE (MARINA PROJECT AREA) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. RD-82-07, adopted May <br /> <br /> 24, 1982, this Agency approved and authorized execution of an <br /> agreement granting Diversified Marina Enterprises the exclusive <br /> right to negotiate with the Agency for disposition of Agency land <br /> within the Marina Project Area, and preparation of a development <br /> plan for said area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid exclusive right was given for a <br /> <br /> period of 2 years, by which time Diversified Marina Enterprises <br /> was to have entered into a dispositibn and development agreement ; <br /> with the Agency for development of the Marina Area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report is currently being <br /> prepared for said agreement and both parties are currently <br /> discussing the proposed contents of a disposition and development <br /> agreement, but no agreement has yet been entered into; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intent of this Agency to extend the <br /> <br /> period for exclusive right to negotiate for an additional 6 month <br /> period to enable both parties to have ample time to enter into a <br /> <br /> disposition and development agreement; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> ACTING AS THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> RD 84-04 <br /> <br /> <br />
