08/27/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1 A3 9 s <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR <br />REDWOOD CITY SENIORS <br />(CATHOLIC CHARITIES ADULT DAY CENTER) <br />WHEREAS, Catholic Charities Adult Day Center (Contractor) conducts an adult <br />day support services program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Ten Thousand and no /100 Dollars ($10,000.00) from <br />its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Adult Day Support Services for <br />Redwood City Seniors," (form dated 8/15/01), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and the Catholic Charities Adult Day Center, a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br />
