incinerator in such a manner as not to be needlessly offensive and filthy in relation to any person, place, building, premises or highway. The truck bodies to be constructed of iron of sufficient strength as to withstand a fire within, without endangering adjacent property. Said bodies to be washed at least once a week and painted once each year and otherwise appear as neat as possible under the circumstances. Each truck shall be equipped with a tarpaulin or other suitable covering which shall be drawn over the load as completed to full depth. All refuse in the truck shall be completely covered between points of collection and disposal. Each truck shall be numbered and the number thereof shall appear on the side of the truck in numbers not smaller than six inches high. SECTION L. Section 7 of said Ordinance No. 339 is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 7. COLLECTION CHARGES: The schedule of monthly charges harein established, effective July 1, 1957, is for the making of sanitary inspections of all premises in the corporate limits of the City of Redwood City and for the collection and removal of refuse accumulated on such premises incident to the normal use or occupancy thereof and shall not be construed to prevent the City of Redwood City from imposing reasonable extra charges for sanitary inspections or the re- moval of extra amounts of garbage or other refuse. Said charges shall be paid to the City Collector by the occupants of all premises to which sanitary inspections or refuse removal services are rendered and shall, when due and payable, constitute debts owing the City of Redwood City. Said charges shall be paid and shall be collectible in the same manner and to the same extent and subject to the same penalties for non-payment - 5 -
