incinerator in such a manner as not to be needlessly <br /> offensive and filthy in relation to any person, place, <br /> building, premises or highway. The truck bodies to be <br /> constructed of iron of sufficient strength as to withstand <br /> a fire within, without endangering adjacent property. Said <br /> bodies to be washed at least once a week and painted once <br /> each year and otherwise appear as neat as possible under <br /> the circumstances. Each truck shall be equipped with a <br /> tarpaulin or other suitable covering which shall be drawn <br /> over the load as completed to full depth. All refuse in <br /> the truck shall be completely covered between points of <br /> collection and disposal. Each truck shall be numbered and <br /> the number thereof shall appear on the side of the truck <br /> in numbers not smaller than six inches high. <br /> SECTION L. Section 7 of said Ordinance No. 339 is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> "SECTION 7. COLLECTION CHARGES: The schedule of <br /> monthly charges harein established, effective July 1, 1957, <br /> is for the making of sanitary inspections of all premises in <br /> the corporate limits of the City of Redwood City and for the <br /> collection and removal of refuse accumulated on such premises <br /> incident to the normal use or occupancy thereof and shall not <br /> be construed to prevent the City of Redwood City from imposing <br /> reasonable extra charges for sanitary inspections or the re- <br /> moval of extra amounts of garbage or other refuse. Said <br /> charges shall be paid to the City Collector by the occupants <br /> of all premises to which sanitary inspections or refuse removal <br /> services are rendered and shall, when due and payable, constitute <br /> debts owing the City of Redwood City. Said charges shall be <br /> paid and shall be collectible in the same manner and to the <br /> same extent and subject to the same penalties for non-payment <br /> - 5 - <br />
