RD- 86 -05 DEC 15 1986 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO NEGOTIATE (PORTION OF <br />GATEWAY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minute Order No. RD 86 -133, adopted <br />July 21, 1986, this Agency terminated previous negotiations with <br />Innisfree Companies and directed staff to prepare a concept plan <br />for redeveloping the Gateway Project Area in "opportunity areas"; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, staff has developed a plan to redevelop a portion <br />of the Gateway Project Area which would incorporate a new <br />Caltrain station; and <br />WHEREAS, Innisfree has expressed an interest in negotiating <br />with the Agency for redeveloping that portion of the Gateway <br />Project Area which would include a new Caltrain station; and <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Agency an <br />agreement entitled "Agreement for Exclusive Right to Negotiate <br />(Portion of Gateway Redevelopment Sub - Area)" (form dated <br />12/11/86); and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Agency to approve said <br />Agreement, and to authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />ACTING AS THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />
