{ SECTION 00400 BiD FORM FOR AN INFORMAL BID Re: SEQUOIA SCHOOL CLUSTER PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT JAMES AVENUE * HARRISON AVENUE 1. The undersigned Bidder proposes and agrees, If this Bid Is accepted, to enter into an agreement with the City of Redwood City, a Charter City and municipal corporation of the State of California, in the form included in the Contract documents, Section 00520 (Agreement), to perform and furnish all Work specified or indicated in the Contract documents for the Contract Sum and within the Contract Time indicated in this Bid and in accordance with all other terms and conditions of the Contract documents. 2. The Bidder accepts all of the terms and conditions of the Contract documents. The Bidder will sign and submit the Agreement, Bonds and other documents by the time and in the manner set forth therein. 3. in submitting this Bid, the Bidder represents that: (a) Bidder has examined all of the Contract documents and of the following Addenda (receipt of all of which is hereby acknowledged). j2ee Number (b) Bidder has visited the Site and performed all tasks, research, investigation, reviews, examinations, analysis, and given notices, regarding the Project and the Site, as set forth in Section 00520 (Agreement). 4. Based on the foregoing, Bidder proposes and agrees to fully perform the Work within the time stated and in strict accordance with the Contract documents for the following sum of money listed in the following Bid Schedule: SCHEDULE OF BID PRICES Bidder shali compute the item cost by multiplying the estimated quantity by the unit price and shall enter the resulting figures in the item Cost" column to the nearest cent. In the event of any discrepancy between the Item Cost as computed by bidder and the result of multiplying the estimated quantity by the unit price, the estimated quantity multiplied by the unit price shall control. At the option of the City, such discrepancy may also constitute ground for disqualification of the bid. It is understood by bidder that the quantities stated below are estimated quantities and are to be used as a basis for comparing bids only. The City specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any and all Bids, to rebid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. All bid items, including lump sums, unit prices, and additive alternates, must be filled in completely. Quote in numerals only, unless words are specifically requested.
