6.3D
Services (Section 1) be amended to eliminate the list of staff positions, which chagi8s
periodically and includes many different employees who only allocate a small portion of
their time for this purpose, and replace the language with a more generic reference to
administrative services necessary to provide support to the Redevelopment Agency's
efforts in the redevelopment area. This would allow more flexibility and would not need
to be amended as frequently.
Additionally, it is suggested that Section 2 Compensation be amended to simply require
conformance with the current adopted budget rather than indicating a specific sum,
which can change annually as budgets are revised or amended. It is proposed that
Amendment No. 2 supersede Amendment No. 1.
The resolutions by the City and the Agency (Attachments 1 and 2) authorize the
execution of Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement for Services originally approved in
2003 (Attachment 3).
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council and the Agency Board may choose not to approve the amendment to
the administrative services agreement. The agreement would then not be current and
some expenses might not be eligible for reimbursement or obligated as part of the
Agency's indebtedness.
FISCAL IMPACT
There would be no new impacts to the annual budget. The administrative services
would be outlined in each redevelopment budget annually as has been the practice.
Patr' a ,1.
