SWC:sb- 2/19/87 (#30) <br /> DES:s 2/23/87R (~30) <br /> <br /> transacted. No other business shall be considered at such <br /> meetings. Such notice shall be dispensed with as to any member <br /> of the Agency who at or prior to the time the meeting convenes <br /> files with the Secretary of the Agency a written waiver of <br /> notice, or as to any member of the Agency who is actually present <br /> at the meeting at the time it convenes. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Public Meetings. All meetings of the Agency <br /> shall be open to the public, except as provided by law. <br /> <br /> Section 4. Quorum. A majority of the members of the Agency <br /> shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business, but a <br /> smaller number may adjourn from time to time. Except as <br /> otherwise provided, no action may be taken by the Agency except <br /> by affirmative vote of not less than a majority of those members <br /> of the Agency present. <br /> <br /> Section 5. Order of Business. At the regular meetings of <br /> the Agency the following shall be the order of business: <br /> <br /> 1. Roll Call. <br /> 2. Approval of Minutes of the previous meeting. <br /> 3. Agenda Items. <br /> 4. Adjournment. <br /> <br /> Section 6. Manner of Votinq. The voting on formal <br />resolutions, matters pertaining to any federal, state, county or <br />City agency and on such other matters as may be requested by a <br />majority of the Agency members present shall be by roll call, and <br />the ayes and noes, abstentions, and members absent shall be <br />entered in the minutes of such meeting. <br /> <br /> Section 7. Resolutions. All resolutions of the Agency <br />shall be in writing. <br /> <br /> Section 8. Rules of Order. All rules of order not herein <br />provided for shall be determined in accordance with "Robert's <br />Rules of Order," provided, however, no action of the Agency shall <br />be invalidated or the legality thereof otherwise affected by the <br />failure or omission to observe or follow said rules. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE IV - AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Section 1. Amendments to By-Laws. The By-Laws of the <br />Agency shall be amended only with the approval of at least three <br />(3) members of the Agency at a Regular or Special meeting, but no <br />such amendment shall be adopted unless at least three (3) days <br />written notice thereof has previously been given to all of the <br />members of the Agency. Such notice shall identify the section or <br />sections of the By-Laws proposed to be amended. <br /> <br /> <br />
