G 3 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF REVOCABLE PERMIT ISSUED BY CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO (WATER DEPARTMENT) FOR USE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN VICINITY OF MADRONE STREET AND LINDEN STREET FOR A CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council a revocable permit issued by the Public Utilities Commission of the City and County of San Francisco permitting the City of Redwood City to occupy and utilize certain portions of the Hetch Hetchy right of way in the vicinity of Madrone Street and Linden Street for a children's playground, subject to certain conditions set forth in said permit; and WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the terms of the permit and desires to authorize its acceptance; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain revocable permit entitled "San Francisco Water Department Land Use Permit" with drawing No. B -3435 dated March 16, 1971, attached, providing for the use by the City of Redwood City of a portion of the San Francisco Water Department's right of way in the vicinity of Madrone Street and Linden Street for a children's playground, a copy of which permit is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City.
