, • DES :yc :4 /5/71 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> APR 19 'it <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. �o <br /> RESOLUTION REPEALING SECTION 5 OF RULE VII AND <br /> SECTION 8 OF RULE XIII OF THE PERSONNEL RULES <br /> AND REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> RELATING TO WAIVER OF RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS <br /> AND CERTAIN LEAVES OF ABSENCE FOR ENGINEERING <br /> CONSTRUCTION INSPECTORS, RESPECTIVELY <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 23 of the <br /> Code of the City of Redwood City and the Personnel Rules and <br /> Regulations, the Personnel Board of the City of Redwood City has <br /> recommended certain amendments hereinafter set forth to the <br /> Personnel Rules and Regulations of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the Personnel Board's <br /> recommendations and the City Manager's recommendations and wishes <br /> to adopt the proposed amendments; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Section 5 of Rule VII of the Personnel Rules and Regula- <br /> tions of the City of Redwood City is hereby repealed. <br /> 2. Section 8 of Rule XIII of the Personnel Rules and <br /> Regulations of the City of Redwood City is hereby repealed. <br /> 3. This resolution shall become effective upon adoption <br /> thereof. <br />
