Ci RESOLUTION APPOINTING WARKENTIN SCHROETER CITY MANAGER PRO TEMPORE, AND, IN THE EVENT OF HIS ABSENCE OR DIS- ABILITY, APPOINTING CHARLES GYSELBRECHT CITY MANAGER PRO TEMPORE, DURING VACANCY OF OFFICE OF CITY MANAGER WHEREAS, the present City Manager, Howard C. Ullrich, has submitted his resignation from said office; and WHEREAS, it is anticipated that a vacancy may occur in the position of City Manager prior to the appointment of a successor to the aforesaid present City Manager; and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to appoint WARKENTIN SCHROETER as City Manager pro tempore, and in the event of the absence or disability of Mr. Schroeter, to appoint CHARLES GYSELBRECHT as City Manager pro tempore, during such time as the office of City Manager may be vacant as occasioned by the resignation of Mr. Ullrich; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. WARKENTIN SCHROETER, Planning Director of the City of Redwood City, is hereby appointed City Manager pro tempore during such vacancy of the office of City Manager as may occur by reason of the resignation from said office by Howard C. Ullrich, the present City Manager; provided, however, that in the case of absence or disability of said Warkentin Schroeter, CHARLES GYSELBRECHT, Chief Building Official of the City of Redwood City, shall be and he is hereby appointed as City Manager pro tempore. 2. The City Manager pro tempore is hereby authorized to exercise all powers, perform all duties and functions, and assume all responsibilities of the office of City Manager of the City of Redwood City as provided in the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the general laws of the State of California, and the ordinances, resolutions, orders and directions of the Council of the City of Redwood City.
