1111 411 CGM: y c :4/2/71 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> 0 <br /> / 5 71 <br /> 4 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> RESURFACING OF DESIGNATED STREETS; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has prepared plans <br /> and specifications for the resurfacing of portions of Winslow <br /> Street, from Marshall Street to approximately 100 feet northerly <br /> of Allerton Street; Upton Street, from Roosevelt Avenue to 120 <br /> feet northerly of Roosevelt Avenue; Massachusetts Avenue, from <br /> Virginia Avenue to Kentucky Street; Sapphire Street, from <br /> Jefferson Avenue to James Avenue; Ruby Street, from Jefferson <br /> Avenue to St. Francis Street; and Jefferson Avenue, from <br /> El Camino Real to Hudson Street; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has reviewed <br /> said plans and specifications and desires to approve the same and <br /> authorize and direct the City Clerk to call for bids for the <br /> resurfacing of the above mentioned streets; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That those certain above mentioned plans and specifications <br /> entitled "General Specifications and Special provisions for <br /> Construction of Street Resurfacing - for Fiscal Year 1970 -71 - <br /> City of Redwood City, California," copies of which are presently <br /> on file in the office of the Director of Public Works, to which <br /> copies reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning <br /> the terms and conditions thereof, are hereby approved, and the <br /> City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to call for bids <br /> for the above mentioned resurfacing program. <br />
