A <br /> { DES : y c: 4 /71 <br /> oR:GiNAL <br /> APR 1 '74 <br /> RE SOLUT ION NO. 6476 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION <br /> OF A PROPOSED NEIGHBORHOOD FACILITIES GRANT CONTRACT <br /> NO. CALIF. N -49(G) <br /> WHEREAS, under Section 703 of the Housing and Urban Develop- <br /> ment Act of 1965, the United States of America (herein called the <br /> "Government ") has tendered to the City of Redwood City (herein <br /> called the "City "), a proposed Neighborhood Facilities Grant <br /> Contract under which the Government agrees to make a Grant to <br /> the City to aid in financing a project, designated Project No. <br /> Calif. N -49; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has given due consideration to said proposed <br /> Contract; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City is duly authorized, under and pursuant to <br /> its Charter, and the Constitution and laws of the State of <br /> California, to undertake and carry out said Program and to execute <br /> such proposed Contract; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The proposed Contract, designated Neighborhood Facilities <br /> Grant Contract No. Calif. N- 49(G), consisting of Parts I and II, <br /> under and subject to the provisions, terms, and conditions of <br /> which the Government will make a Neighborhood Facilities Grant <br /> under Section 703 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of <br /> 1965, to the City to aid in financing the cost of a project, <br /> designated Project No. Calif. N -49, situated in the City of Redwood <br /> City, County of San Mateo, State of California, is hereby in all <br /> respects approved. <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute said proposed Contract in two counterparts on behalf of <br />
