Box 2745 <br />Redwood City, CA 94064 <br />Dear Mr. Tong: <br />The City Council on June 23, 2003, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting <br />the Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis Club, through Butler Amusements, Inc., to <br />conduct a carnival in downtown Redwood City. These events are subject to and in <br />accordance with the terms and conditions herein. <br />Permission is granted to the Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis Club, through Butler <br />Amusements, Inc. ( "Permittee "), by the City of Redwood City ( "City "). The permit is <br />subject to the following terms and conditions: <br />Carnival: The carnival shall be sponsored and conducted by the Permittee. <br />The sale of alcoholic beverages shall be prohibited. <br />2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by City. <br />3. Non- Transferabilitv:, This permit is non - transferable. <br />4. Location: The carnival shall be conducted at the City -owned municipal <br />parking lot on Middlefield Road at Winslow Street. City shall order the <br />necessary, temporary closure of the lot. <br />5. Dates and Times: Carnival set -up will begin at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3, <br />2003, and the site will be cleared by 5:00 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2003. The <br />carnival shall be held from July 4, 2003, through July 6, 2003. The daily <br />hours of operation shall be 10:00 a.m. to "shutdown" at 11:00 p.m. The <br />exception shall be on July 4, 2003, when the carnival shall not begin <br />operations until 1:00 p.m. or the end of the 4th of July Parade, <br />whichever occurs later.
