` CGM: y c :2/5/71 <br /> ORIGINAL fism7t <br /> R E S O L U T I ON NO. 4T•3 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br /> TWO pH MEASURING AND RECORDING INSTRUMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6448, adopted January 25, <br /> 1971, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of two <br /> pH Measuring and Recording Instruments, to be used for municipal <br /> purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, BECKMAN INSTRUMENTS, INC., Fullerton, California, <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of 'said pH .Measuring <br /> and Recording Instruments and it is the intention and desire of <br /> this Council to award said bid to said Beckman Instruments, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Beckman Instruments, Inc., in the total net <br /> delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Three Thousand <br /> Twenty -six and 73/100 Dollars ($3,026.73), for the furnishing <br /> of two pH Measuring and Recording Instruments, in accordance with <br /> the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder <br /> is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the <br /> furnishing of said equipment. <br /> 2. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are hereby waived. <br /> 3. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
