These lifeline services provide first <br />responders with essential resources that support their <br />ability to maintain and ensure public safety. <br />• Program funds are used to assist local organizations <br />with disaster preparedness activities and funds can be <br />used to directly assist the City with disaster recovery <br />efforts. <br />• Affordable housing developments are constructed near <br />public transportation to encourage and promote use of <br />pedestrian and public transportation options <br />• CDBG/HOME funds are used to support City <br />infrastructure improvements including the removal of <br />barriers, sidewalk and other road improvements. <br />#15099 <br />MUFF #903 <br />
