� I <br /> 6.1A <br /> Page 14 <br /> Ms. Thompson, City Attorney, clarified for the record that this particular appeal was <br /> about a conflict in what the City code said and a piece of paper that was posted on the <br /> City's website. They have already remaved it and they will clarify it for any revision to <br /> the appeal procedure. <br /> Mayor Ira indicated that they, with acknowledgement from Mr. Bell, would be working on <br /> concerns brought up this evening by another Council Member and from their <br /> MayorNice Mayor meeting of last week. <br /> 9. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br /> A. City Council Member Reports of Conference/Meeting Attendance. <br /> Council Member Pierce attended a Bay Planning Coalition workshop on sea level rise. <br /> She reported that there were some good, multijurisdictional approaches and pilot <br /> programs that she opined would be useful to look at given the current situation. She <br /> also attended a staff working group meeting on high speed rail. <br /> Council Member Faust said that, along with others, she has been monitoring the BCDC <br /> Bay Plan amendment process and she will bring back more information. She also <br /> participated in a phone call about the survivability of Caltrain and what to do about its <br /> $30 million deficit.
