· ~ JAH.djk 01/07/88R (#21) <br /> _ JAl_ijk 02/05/88R <br /> JAH:djk 04/07/88R <br /> <br /> PREVAILING WAGE POLICY <br /> OF <br /> THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> (a) General Policy. All workers performing construction <br /> work for a project covered by (b) hereof, from the commencement <br /> of construction until the issuance of a final Certificate of <br /> Occupancy, shall be paid not less than the highest prevailing <br /> rate of per diem wages as determined and published by the <br /> California Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Section <br /> 1773 of the Labor Code. Construction work includes all <br /> construction of the building core and shell and tenant <br /> improvements. Also included are public works that are within the <br /> customary jurisdiction of the construction trades and crafts, <br /> whether performed on or off the project site. Work done off the <br /> site on materials to be assembled in the project at a later date <br /> is not covered by this policy, but the work of assembly of such <br /> materials on site is covered. <br /> <br /> (b) Projects Subject to Prevailing Wage Policy. The <br /> Prevailing Wage Policy shall apply to any construction project <br /> with a total construction cost, including tenant improvements, of <br /> $100,000 or more and meeting the criteria set forth in (1), (2), <br /> (3) or (4) below and not made exempt from the policy by (5) <br /> below: <br /> <br /> (1) Where a construction project is subsidized by <br /> public funds in the amount of $100,000 or more pursuant to <br /> an agreement with the Agency. <br /> <br /> <br />
