MSR:yc:4/12/7 3 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 6897 APR 16 '73 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br /> ONE TRUCK-MOUNTED TRANSIT-MIXER; AND REJECTING ALL <br /> OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6877, adopted March 12, <br /> 1973, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> truck-mounted transit-mixer, to be used for municipal purposes; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, RICKER MACHINERY COMPANY, Oakland, California, is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> bid to Ricker Machinery Company; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Ricker Machinery Company, in the total net <br /> delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Eleven Thousand <br /> Two Hundred Thirty-five and No/100 Dollars ($11,235.00) for the <br /> furnishing of one truck-mounted transit-mixer, in accordance <br /> with the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and said <br /> bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> 2. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are hereby waived. <br /> 3 . Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
