REG:yc :1/21/64 -7 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1125 <br /> ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 2.25 TO THE CODE <br /> OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO <br /> THE ASSIGNMENT OF DEBTS FOR COLLECTION <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Section 2.25 is hereby added to Article I of <br /> Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, to read as <br /> follows: <br /> "Section 2.25 The City Collector is hereby author- <br /> ized to assign for collection all indebtednesses due to <br /> the City of Redwood City when, after due diligence on the <br /> part of the City Collector, it appears that the indebtedness <br /> will remain unpaid unless special proceedings are instituted <br /> to enforce payment. <br /> "No assignment for collection shall be made except <br /> to persons or firms licensed by the State of California <br /> Department of Professional and Vocational Standards pursuant <br /> to the provisions of Section 6850, et seq., of the Business <br /> and Professions Code." <br />
