. • <br /> VI) Commercial recreation facilities, including but not <br /> limited to swimming pools, bowling alleys, skating <br /> rinks, golf- driving ranges and dance halls. <br /> "(e) Bars, restaurants, catering establishments and drive - <br /> in eating establishments including the sale of alcoholic <br /> beverages. <br /> "(f) Lumber yards, building material sales yards, and public <br /> utility service and corporation yards. <br /> Concrete or asphalt batch or mixing plants are not <br /> permitted in the CG District. <br /> "(g) Funeral homes and mortuaries. <br /> "(h) Warehouses and storage buildings. <br /> "(i) Sales of used merchandise, including cars, boats <br /> and trailers. <br /> "(j) Any other uses not otherwise listed in this article <br /> which are determined by the Commission to be of the <br /> Same general character as the uses permitted by this <br /> article and are not inconsistent with the purpose of <br /> this article. <br /> SECTION 3. Section 31.15 is hereby added to Ordinance No. <br /> 1130, the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11, 1964, to <br /> read as follows: <br /> "Section 31.15 Auction Houses. Auction houses, as defined <br /> in Section 6.8 of the Redwood City Code, may be permitted in any <br /> district, other than R Districts, subject to first obtaining a <br /> use permit therefor, and not otherwise. The granting of a use <br /> permit for an auction house shall not be deemed to permit the sale <br /> of any goods or merchandise that would not otherwise be permitted <br /> in the district where located nor to eliminate the need to secure <br /> any other permit required by law." <br /> SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective 30 days <br /> after its adoption. <br /> This Ordinance was adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> City on the 5th day of October, 1964. <br /> Ord. #1130.3 <br /> - 2 - <br />
