• <br /> SECTION 2. Section 18.4 of Ordinance No. 1130, the <br /> Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11, 1964, is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 18.4 Conditional Uses. The following <br /> structures and uses are permitted in the IP District subject <br /> to first securing a use permit therefor: <br /> (a) Public utility buildings. <br /> (b) Public and quasi - public uses, except corporation, <br /> storage or repair yards. <br /> (c) Parking lots and garages. <br /> (d) Privately owned indoor recreational or educational <br /> facilities, but not including public dance halls <br /> or ballrooms. <br /> (e) Funeral homes and mortuaries. <br /> (f) Medical and dental offices, laboratories and <br /> clinics. <br /> (g) Schools and studios for arts, crafts, photography, <br /> music and dance. <br /> (h) Restaurants, including the sale of alcoholic <br /> beverages in conjunction thereto, but not including <br /> separate cocktail lounges or drive -in service of <br /> food or beverage. <br /> (i) Any other research or light manufacturing use <br /> which is determined by the Commission to be <br /> consistent with the purpose of this ordinance <br /> and which will not impair the present or poten- <br /> tial use and values of adjacent properties, nor <br /> be detrimental to the public health, safety, peace, <br /> morals, comfort,or general welfare of the community." <br /> SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective 30 days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> -2- <br />
