"(f) Manufacture, assembly, processing or packaging of <br /> products from previously prepared materials, such <br /> as cloth, plastic, paper, leather, precious or <br /> semi - precious metals or stones, but not including <br /> such operations as saw and planing mills, or any <br /> manufacturing uses involving primary production <br /> of wood, metal, or chemical products from raw <br /> materials. <br /> "(g) Warehousing, and wholesale distribution and storage <br /> facilities. <br /> "(h) Television and radio studios and stations, but not <br /> including transmission and reception towers. <br /> "(i) Indoor building materials sales establishments. <br /> "(j.) Combined retail and wholesale office equipment <br /> stores and accessory office supply sales. <br /> "(k) Floor covering stores and furniture stores. <br /> "(1) Appliance stores, including appliance repair <br /> ( <br /> service appurtenant or incidental thereto. <br /> "(m) Business and industrial supply, maintenance and <br /> service establishments." <br /> SECTION 3. It is the intention of the City Council that <br /> this ordinance, and every provision thereof, shall be considered <br /> separable; and the invalidity of any section, clause, provision, <br /> or part or portion of any section, clause or provision of this <br /> ordinance shall not affect the validity of any other portion of <br /> this ordinance. <br /> SECTION 4. This ordinance is hereby declared by the <br /> Council of the City of Redwood City to be necessary as an emergency <br /> measure for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health <br /> and safety within the meaning of Section 16 of the Charter of the <br /> City of Redwood City. <br /> The Council further finds and declares, after review of evidence <br /> and recommendations by the Planning Director, that the reasons for <br /> the urgency of this measure include: <br /> 1. The protection of the public interest in the sound and <br /> planned development of the areas in and around the downtown district <br /> - 5- <br />
