WHK:yc:12 /20/65 -7 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. //3O.3F <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 30.15 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1130, <br /> THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, RELATING TO REQUIRED <br /> PARKING FACILITIES <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Section 30.15 of Ordinance No. 1130, the Redwood <br /> City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11, 1964, is hereby amended <br /> to read as follows: <br /> "Section 30.15 Location of Required Parking and <br /> Loading Facilities. (a) Required offstreet parking facil- <br /> ities shall be on the same lot or on an immediately adjacent <br /> parcel of land as the structure or use they are intended to <br /> serve. The Commission, upon application submitted in the <br /> manner provided by Section 30.4, may permit the location <br /> of all or part of the required parking spaces on non - adjacent <br /> parcels located within 400 feet of the premises to which <br /> the parking requirement pertains and may permit parking <br /> spaces intended for use of employees to be located on non- <br /> adjacent parcels within 900 feet of the premises to which <br /> the parking requirement pertains if the Commission determines <br /> that such locations will substantially preserve the purpose <br /> of this article. <br /> "(b) Required offstreet loading facilities shall be <br /> on the same lot or parcel of land as the building they are <br /> intended to serve. In no case shall the required offstreet <br /> loading space be part of the area used to meet the offstreet <br /> parking requirements of this ordinance. <br /> "(c) In any R District, required parking spaces for <br /> multi - family, duplex or single - family dwellings or for <br /> conditional uses of the property shall not be located in <br /> a required front yard, or in a side yard along a street <br />
