MEMORANDUM FROM THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />CONCERNING CLOSED SESSION <br />BEFORE E THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY of REDWOOD CITY <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council Personnel Committee <br />FROM: Pamela Thompson, City Attorney <br />SUBJECT: Closed Session — Personnel [Gov"t. Code §54957] <br />Performance evaluation of City Attorney <br />A closed session will be held on April 25, 2011, at :og p.m., for the purpose of considering the <br />above- described matter, [Gov't. Code §54957. 1] <br />Any action taken b the City Council to appoint, employ, , dismiss, accept the resignation of, <br />change the compensation of or otherwise affect the employment status of a public employee <br />shall be disclosed immediately following this close session; provided, however, that the <br />dismissal or nonrenewal of an employment contract shall be deferred until the first public <br />meeting following the exhaustion of administrative remedies, if any.
