Staff would have to <br />delay pavement improvements and temporary sidewalk maintenance in order to <br />perform the trench repairs. <br />(3) The service could be re -bid, however, the City received valid bids for the work. <br />Fiscal Impact <br />Funds have been requested in the appropriations for the 2003 -2004 Public Works <br />Services water and wastewater systems maintenance budgets. Staff will not initiate <br />this contract until the City Council has formally approved the 2003 -2004 budget. Should <br />the pending appropriation be reduced or deleted from the 2003 -2004 budget, this contract <br />will be reduced or not be executed.
