&. 4 D -1 <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 38.5 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO WATER SERVICE CHARGES AND <br />FEES <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 38.5 of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br />"Sec. 38.5. WATER SERVICE CHARGE: <br />In addition to all other charges and fees applicable to users of water from <br />the water system owned or operated by the City of Redwood City, as established <br />by the Water Rules and Regulations of the Department of Public Works Services, <br />as amended, and this chapter, residential and non - residential monthly water <br />service charges shall be paid for each water service within the water service <br />areas and at the rate and upon the effective dates as follows: <br />A. Residential Water Service Charge. A monthly water service <br />charge for each dwelling unit or dwelling unit equivalent ( "DUE ") for each <br />such unit used, or intended for use, as a single - family residential dwelling, <br />irrespective of whether such service is furnished through a single meter for <br />multiple dwelling units or through individual meters for each dwelling unit, <br />is hereby established as follows: <br />Water Service Area Service Charae Per DUE* Per Month <br />Effective Date: 08/28/03 <br />1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 $11.17 <br />*DUEs shall be determined as follows: <br />F:Atty /Ord /Ord.193 <br />071003 1 <br />
