EXHIBIT "A"
SCOPE OF SERVICES
In preparation for a property acquisition, Iris Environmental would be pleased to provide environmental
due diligence services for the 1402 and 1450 Maple Street properties in Redwood City. We understand
that Redwood City is interested in purchasing the property located at 1402 and 1450 Maple Street, which
extends from the marina area to the west to a storage yard to the east. The storage yard is bound by
Blomquist Street to the south, and a railroad track to the east. Steinberger Creek borders the property to
the north. We understand that the future use(s) of the property has not been decided. For cost/budgeting
purposes, these are our estimated costs:
• Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) Preliminary Report: Iris Environmental will begin
the Phase 1 ESA process and present findings in summary format on or before November 17 h
2008. The cost for this task is not to exceed $8,000. Due to time constraints a complete Phase 1
ESA will not be provided, but findings will be presented in the Phase 1 ESA format and to the
extent possible be in accordance with ASTM E 1527 -05. A summary of Phase 2 ESA
requirements will be included as part of the November 17 deliverable.
Agreement over $10K 10
City Attorney Approved Version 111803
Iris Environmental 10.06.08 v.2
