RESOLUTION NO. P- 2134 o. <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 FOR THE PORT <br /> SECURITY LIGHTING, CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION (CCTV) AND <br /> TRANSPORTATION WORKER IDENTIFICATION CREDENTIAL <br /> (TWIC) PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2122 adopted December 15, 2010, the Board of Port <br /> Commissioners approved the bid of Tennyson Electric, Inc. and entered into a contract for the <br /> performance of the Port security lighting, closed circuit television ( "CCTV ") and transportation <br /> worker identification credential ( "TWIC ") project (the "Project "); and <br /> WHEREAS, underground obstructions have been encountered while trenching for fiber <br /> optic /electrical conduit and drilling light pole foundations; and <br /> WHEREAS, additional work is necessary to remove the obstructions and otherwise <br /> perform additional work for the necessary modifications. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> The Change Order (Change Order No. 2) by Tennyson Electric, Inc. in a sum not to <br /> exceed $27,000 and dated April 19, 2011, to remove underground obstructions and otherwise <br /> perform additional work for the necessary modifications, a copy of which Change 2 is on file in <br /> the office of the Port Executive Director, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br /> particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the Port Executive Director is hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute Change Order No. 2 for and on behalf of the Port of Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br /> Reso185 <br /> FXS /fs <br /> 04/21/11 <br /> X11' <br />
