The Clerk read the letter from the Planning Commission in which they stated that due to an � oversight Mr. Conrow failed to mail postal cars on the Casaurang and Solari rezoning at ��rh.ipple and Arguello E; - �, although the legal notice was published. They suggested that the matter be referred back to the Planning Commission for a further hearing. Councilman�Britschgi moved that the matter be referred back to the Planning Commission, �econded by Councilman Granger and carried. GOUNCILIt2AN l�ritschgi report of yacht harbor committee. Councilman Britschgi reported that J. Q. Archibald has � almost completed the job as far as the �5,000 will go� and he read the f ollo�rring letter from Mr. Archibald � to the- Council. "I am very pleased to be able to participate in the start of the Redwood City Yacht Harbor Project. This project, w hen completed� will help Leslie Salt Company, one of rqy best customers, to solve the problem of docking vessels at their loading dock rovithout damage to boats in the present Yacht Harbor location. Due to this fact and also wishing to contribute to this worthwhile project, I am donating the invoice in the amount of �1,25Lt.35� which covers the construction of the levee f or the new road alignment and the placing of 2,s68 cubic yard of rock fill. By taking advantage of the rock fill whi3e available, the cost to the Yacht Harbor �' was only seventy two cents per cubic yard, which is a good saving. �Ir. T. I. Mosel�r, of Dalmo Victor Company� has donated the 2,568 yards of rock fill� which is a donation of �61�2.00. Adr. Moseley oNms a large ,yacht, and I have expressed u�y thanks to hirn f or his help f or the Yacht Harbor". , � Councilman Britschgi stated that the price of the rock is well over the �6l�2.00 as quoted in the letter. � � The Committee had a meetin in regard to the matter of the Port Commission minutes and slso �n regard to the ', �r , ,I Park and Recreation Commission. The Port Commission is ready to help the City in any wasy they can. The spoils from the dredging wi11 be dropped on the port property between the Stanf ord building and the railroad tracks. He further r�ported that Mr. Jain was to continue with the plans and specs and a copy should be turned over to the Port so they may clear the matter with the Arrnpr engineers. Councilman Britschgi asked that �7r. Archibald be allawed to continue with the job and the City Manager , should be allawed to call f or bids f or dred.�;ing. City Engineer Jain stated that they are at a standstill '', until they knaw for sure what the Council wishes in regard to the plans. Their Engineering Department is naw preparing description of the area to be covered by easement. �Nhen the description has been completed, �r.
