. • <br /> Section 1. <br /> (a) Unless the context otherwise requires, the terms <br /> defined in this Section 1(a) shall have the meanings herein <br /> specified: <br /> BONDS <br /> The term "bonds" shall mean the "Redwood City General <br /> Improvement District No. 1 -65 1966 Drainage System Bonds." <br /> CHARTER <br /> The term "Charter" shall mean the Charter of the City, <br /> as amended and in effect on the date of adoption of this resolution. <br /> CITY <br /> The term "City" shall mean the City of Redwood City. <br /> CLERK <br /> The term "Clerk" shall mean the City Clerk of the City. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> The term "Council" shall mean the Council of the City. <br /> DISTRICT <br /> The term "District" shall mean Redwood City General <br /> Improvement District No. 1 -65. <br /> MAYOR <br /> The Term "Mayor" shall mean the Mayor of the City. <br /> ORDINANCE <br /> The term "Ordinance" shall mean Ordinance No. 1128, <br /> adopted by the Council on March 9, 1964, as amended and in effect <br /> on the date of adoption of this resolution. <br /> TREASURER <br /> The term "Treasurer" shall mean the City Treasurer of <br /> the City. <br /> (b) The Council has reviewed all proceedings heretofore <br /> taken and has found as a result of such review, and does hereby <br /> find and determine, that all acts, conditions and things required <br /> by law to exist, happen and be performed precedent to and in the <br /> issuance of the bonds have existed, happened and been performed <br /> -2- <br />
