} <br /> Bonds numbered 1 to 229, both inclusive, maturing <br /> by their terms on or prior to January 15, 1986, are not sub - <br /> ject to call or redemption prior to their fixed maturity <br /> dates. Bonds numbered 230 to 323, both inclusive, maturing <br /> by their terms on and after January 15, 1987 are subject to <br /> call and redemption, at the option of the Council of the <br /> City, as a whole, or in part in inverse numerical order from <br /> higher to lower, on January 15, 1986 (but not prior thereto), <br /> and on any interest payment date thereafter prior to their <br /> fixed maturity date or dates at the principal amount thereof <br /> and accrued interest thereon to date of redemption, together <br /> with a premium of one - quarter of one per cent (1 /4 of 1 %) of <br /> such principal amount for each whole year and for any remaining <br /> fraction of a year from the date fixed for redemption to the <br /> fixed maturity date of the bonds so called for redemption. <br /> It is hereby certified, recited and declared that <br /> all acts, conditions and things required by law to exist, <br /> happen and to be performed precedent to and in the issuance <br /> of this bond have existed, happened and been performed in <br /> due time, form and manner as required by law, and that the <br /> amount of this bond, together with all other indebtedness <br /> of the District, does not exceed any limit prescribed by the <br /> Constitution or statutes of said State, and that provision <br /> has been made as required by Ordinance No. 1128 for the col- <br /> lection of an annual tax upon all taxable property in the <br /> District sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on <br /> this bond as the same become due. The full faith and credit <br /> of the District are hereby pledged for the punctual payment <br /> of the principal of and interest on this bond. <br /> This bond may be registered in the manner provided <br /> by a resolution of the Council of the City adopted November 1, <br /> 1965, and thereafter the principal hereof and interest hereon <br /> shall be payable only to such registered owner; provided, how- <br /> ever, that it may be discharged from registration and con- <br /> verted into a coupon bond as provided in said resolution. <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Redwood City General Improve- <br /> ment District No. 2 -65 has caused this bond to be executed <br /> under the official seal of the City, signed by the Mayor and <br /> countersigned by the City Clerk of the City, and has caused <br /> the interest coupons attached hereto to be signed by the <br /> City Clerk of the City, and this bond to be dated January 15, <br /> 1966. <br /> Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br /> Countersigned: <br /> City Clerk of the City of Redwood City <br /> 8 <br />
