EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> GIS AND IT SERVICES <br /> The City of Redwood City (City) is pleased to provide this proposal to the Port of Redwood City <br /> (Port) for professional services related to implementation and development of Port's Geographic <br /> Information System (GIS) and Information Technology (IT) services. <br /> PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br /> The Port of Redwood City has numerous underground utilities and non - utilities structures <br /> constructed on its property and is interested in creating GIS mapping and datasets. This <br /> information will be added to the City's existing GIS data which will be depicted using the City's <br /> MapGuide GIS Platform. The City will provide the Port with access to the City's GIS Intranet for <br /> viewing. In addition, the Port is contracting with a consultant to develop and implement an <br /> electronic digital building mapping system for all interior and exterior areas at the Port. This <br /> information will be delivered to the City and integrated into the City's MapGuide GIS Platform. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> TASK 1 — Project Management, QA/QC and Meetings <br /> The City will manage the GIS Project to provide the appropriate work products to the Port within <br /> the identified schedule and specified budget. Management activities include project <br /> administration, resource coordination, attending meetings and quality control as stated in the <br /> following sub - tasks: <br /> Subtask 1.1 — Project Coordination and Administration <br /> The City will coordinate work with Port's staff and Consultant to integrate electronic building <br /> mapping content and create GIS datasets for Port's utility infrastructure and non - utility <br /> structures. The City will regularly communicate project issues and status updates with the Port <br /> through monthly progress reports submitted with the invoices. For issues that require <br /> immediate attention or discussion, the City will quickly communicate with the Port's staff to <br /> address and resolve them. <br /> Subtask 1.2 — QA/QC (Quality Assurance /Quality Control) <br /> The City will implement a QA/QC program for the project. The program will provide quality <br /> control reviews of all work and stress a quality commitment throughout the project from project <br /> team members. QA/QC will be conducted prior to submitting documents to the Port. <br /> Subtask 1.3 — Meetings <br /> The City will attend meetings with the Port, including a project kickoff meeting and up to two (2) <br /> workshops /presentations to provide project status and demonstrations. Meeting summary <br /> memorandums will be prepared and submitted to the attendees. <br />
