CITY OF REDWOOD CITY 6.3.E. - Page 11 <br /> LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT (Continuec� <br /> Applicable laws and regulations relevant to design construction in the areas <br /> of assignments. <br /> Ability to: <br /> Prepare sketches, renderings, master and detailed plans, construction <br /> specifications and cost estimates for various projects. <br /> Make clear, concise and effective oral presentations. <br /> Use computer aided design to draft plans and details, and prepare graphic <br /> presentations using a variety of inedia. <br /> Make independent decisions within the scope of assigned duties and <br /> responsibilities. <br /> Work effectively with consultants, other City workers, and other government <br /> agencies in completing projects. <br /> Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others. <br /> Issue and review legal documents such as design and construction <br /> agreements, bonds, insurance and fees. <br /> Participate in field reviews in scoping out projects and supervising sub- <br /> professional workers during field investigations or inspections. <br /> Participate in meetings to review programs and projects. <br /> Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. <br /> Use and care for drafting instruments and equipment. <br /> Physical Characteristics: <br /> Must be in sufficiently good health to perform job duties. <br /> Experience and Traininq Guidelines: <br /> Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the <br /> required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the <br /> knowledge and abilities would be: <br /> Experience: <br /> Three years of progressively responsible experience in professional <br /> landscape architecture which has included design and construction <br /> management d uties. <br /> Traininq: <br />
