6.1.G. - Page 6 Attachment#1 <br /> Police Department: <br /> (a) Extensive crowd and traffic control measures throughout the events. <br /> Community Development: <br /> (a) Access and use of Courthouse Square. <br /> (b) Use of the Marshall Street parking garage for handicap and vendor <br /> parking from 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 3, 2011 until 8:00 pm on <br /> Monday, July 4, 2011. <br /> 11. The Permittee Will Provide: <br /> (a) Adequate temporary restroom facilities at no expense to the City. <br /> (b) Post "No Parking" signs under the direction of the Police Department by <br /> 5:00 pm on June 30, 2011. <br /> (c) Waste reduction activities shall be implemented to comply with <br /> California State waste diversion mandate AB 939--The Integrated <br /> Waste Management Act--to the extent feasible. <br /> (d) Notify all parade entries in writing prior to and on the parade day that a <br /> separation of 75 feet will be maintained between units at the <br /> intersection of Main and Bradford. <br /> (e) Parade entries will be stopped prior to crossing the intersection of Main <br /> and Bradford if there is insufficient space between them and the <br /> proceeding unit to completely pass through the intersection. <br /> (� Entries containing multiple units may to be separated when crossing <br /> the intersection of Main and Bradford. The need for separation will be <br /> determined by the on-site parade supervisors. <br /> (g) The PCA will provide a senior parade supervisor on Main Street to <br /> monitor the flow of units through the intersection with Bradford. <br /> (h) The PCA will provide an additional staff inember at the intersection of <br /> Main and Bradford to monitor the fire equipment parked outside Fire <br /> Station #9 or on Bradford. At the first activation of any combination of <br /> flashing lights, sirens, or air horn, the parade will be halted and all <br /> participants and/or vehicles will be cleared from the intersection. <br /> 4 <br />
