F A -I0
(v) Economic Imoacts to the Citv of Redwood Citv. The
Project will provide significant market support to
downtown businesses and will enhance the City's
ongoing revitalization efforts. The Project will retain
Kaiser's approximately 1,387 employoes in the City
and will result in additional new employees. These
employees are a primary source of potential business,
patronizing restaurants, shops and cafes. This Council hereby finds and recognizes that the FEIR contains
additions, clarifications, modifications and other information in its responses to
comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Project ( "DEIR ") and also
incorporates information obtained by the City since the DEIR was issued. This Council
hereby finds and determines that such changes and additional information are not
significant new information as that term is defined under the provisions of the California
Environmental Quality Act, because such changes and additional information do not
indicate that any new significant environmental impacts not already evaluated would
result from the Project and do not reflect any substantial increase in the severity of any
