7.1 F <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN COUNTY OF SAN MATEO ( "County") <br />AND <br />FAIR OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER - CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />( "Contractor "), <br />A Core Services Agency <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of 2003, by <br />and between the County and Contractor as named above. <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, the County has determined that it is appropriate to provide its residents with <br />general core services, supporting activities and related information (these being referred to <br />collectively in this Agreement as "Core Services "); and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County contract with independent <br />contractors for the furnishing of such services to our for County or any Department/Agency thereof; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that Contractor be retained for the purpose of <br />performing the professional services herein (occasionally referred to as "the Project') from <br />Contractor; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 6, 2003, the Board of Supervisors approved the Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), and HOME Action Plan for FY 2003 -04 <br />which included funding for this activity; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS: <br />CONTRACT $58,726 <br />AMOUNT See Exhibit B <br />CONTRACT TERM <br />Start Date : 7/1/03 <br />End Date : 6/30/04 <br />COUNTY REPRESENTATIVE <br />Steve Cervantes <br />Director Office of Housing <br />262 Harbor Blvd., Bldg A <br />Belmont, CA 94002 <br />CONTRACTOR REPRESENTATIVE <br />Teri Chin <br />Human Services Manager <br />2600 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />(650) 802 -5050 Fax: (650) 802 -5049 (650) 780 -7500 Fax: (650) 298 -8184 <br />
